Geoquest launches Exegy: Our global brand for low carbon concrete solutions
Geoquest is proud to announce the launch of Exegy by Geoquest, the new global brand for our low carbon concrete products. Exegy represents our commitment to developing innovative solutions that reduce carbon emissions and support sustainable construction practices worldwide.
Geoquest UK is excited to be part of this important initiative, working closely with our precast partners, to manufacture low carbon precast retaining wall panels for a new project near Edinburgh. These panels are produced using a cutting-edge concrete mix that incorporates a very high percentage of GGBS (Ground Granulated Blastfurnace Slag). By using GGBS, we reduce the carbon footprint of the structural concrete by nearly 60% compared to traditional concrete, without compromising on strength, durability, or performance.
This project is just one example of how Exegy by Geoquest is transforming the way we approach sustainable infrastructure. Across the Geoquest Group, we are also developing carbon calculators for every project we undertake, helping clients understand the environmental impact of their designs and supporting more informed decision-making.
